Websites that carry your boiler company's position

Your website should say what you are for in its first line, show your packages with real starting prices, and make it easy to call, text or email. We build sites that do exactly that.

Written by Ali Sedighi, MBALast updated:

A positioning-led website states your boiler niche in the first line, gives each package on your menu its own page with an honest starting price, and puts call, text and email one tap away. It is the public face of the work done in positioning, menus and pricing presentation. We build and maintain the site; we do not install or service any heating equipment.

What this service is

A website designed from the position outward. Instead of starting with a template and filling in "our services", we start from the one-sentence position and ask what a buyer needs to see to believe it. A typical structure:

  • Home page that leads with the niche, the menu and proof in that order.
  • One page per package, with inclusions, exclusions, the starting price and the type of home it suits.
  • A pricing page that shows all packages side by side, all-in, plus GST/HST.
  • Proof pages: job write-ups in the niche, licences held, and reviews where they exist.
  • Service-area pages only where you can genuinely reach and support customers.
  • A plain contact path: call, text or email, on every page.

Who it is for

Owners who have done the strategy work, with us or on their own, and whose current site does not reflect it. Also companies launching a separate boiler brand or division, which need a site that carries none of the parent company's generic wording. Our founder has built 150+ live HVAC websites, including boiler-focused ones such as CombiBoiler.ca and GasBoilers.ca.

What is included

Packages follow the HVAC.Agency website tiers:

Package One-time Monthly Scope
Essential $3,500 $149 hosting and maintenance 5–7 pages in 2–3 weeks
Professional $6,500 $249 hosting, maintenance and CRO 10–15 conversion-focused pages in 3–4 weeks
Enterprise $12,500 $449 full management Unlimited pages and locations in 4–6 weeks

Prices in Canadian dollars, plus GST/HST by province. Notice that the monthly fee sits beside the build price, not in a footnote: that is the same honest presentation we recommend to you.

For a boiler company with three install packages and two care plans, Professional is usually the right fit, because each package gets its own page. Essential works for a focused shop with a single flagship package.

How a package page is laid out

Each package page follows the same order so customers can compare them quickly: the package name and one-line promise; the kind of home it suits; what is included; what is not; the starting price with GST/HST noted; a short note on what moves a job above the starting price; two or three photos of your own installations; and the call, text and email buttons. Consistency across pages is a quiet signal of a company that is organised.

Timeline

From two weeks for Essential to six weeks for Enterprise, measured from the day we have the approved position, menu and prices. Photography of your own jobs, if you need it, should be planned before the build starts, because stock images cannot prove a specialism.

How results are measured

  • Calls, texts and emails from the site, tracked by page.
  • Which package pages lead to enquiries, and which are read and abandoned.
  • The share of enquiries in your niche versus outside it.
  • Search visibility for niche terms, such as the system type plus your main towns.

A clear position makes search work easier: CombiBoiler.ca earned 500+ page-1 rankings for combi-boiler keywords by staying tightly on one product category.

Mistakes to avoid

  • Listing every service you have ever done. It undoes the position in one menu bar.
  • "Call for pricing" on every page. Show a real starting price or explain honestly why a range is impossible.
  • Stock photos of other people's boiler rooms. Use your own work or none.
  • Service-area pages for towns you rarely reach. They attract calls you will disappoint.

Frequently asked questions

How is this different from a normal contractor website?

A normal contractor site is organised around a list of everything the company touches. A positioning-led site is organised around the niche and the menu: one page per package, a pricing page, proof pages for the specialism, and clear service areas.

Do we own the website?

Yes. You own the domain, the content and the accounts. If you ever leave, you take the site with you, which is part of why there is no lock-in.

What does it cost?

Website packages start at $3,500 one-time for a 5–7 page site, plus $149/month hosting and maintenance. Larger builds are $6,500 and $12,500, with $249 and $449 monthly fees respectively. All website prices are in Canadian dollars, plus GST/HST for your province (GST and QST in Quebec).

Can the site go live before positioning is finished?

It can, but we usually advise against it. Writing the home page is where a vague position gets exposed, so it is better to settle the position first and build once.
